Merrell Bros., Inc. was contracted to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to efficiently clean 8 digesters utilizing 3 (2.0 Meter) Alfa Laval belt press units at 2 locations. These three units allowed for MBI to continually clean all day long and reduce downtime of any single digester to a minimum. Once the material was dewatered, the material was then conveyed into sealed dump trucks and transferred to a local landfill.
