Merrell Bros., Inc. was contracted to dredge, dewater and transport Water Treatment Plant sludge from two 10-acre lagoons located at the Elm Fork Water Treatment Plant. We mobilized (12) Ashbrook Belt Filter Presses, (2) IMS Hydraulic Dredges & (15) Semi-tractors & Trailers (see picture below). Merrell Bros., Inc. is dredging and dewatering 160,000 dry tons of Water Treatment Plant sludge and subcontracted the transportation to the landfill for disposal.
