Merrell Bros., Inc. was contracted to mechanically dredge the upper portion (North Side) of Murphey Candler Lake. The project also consisted of a valve inspection and site restoration and beautification. We cleared the upper portion and removed invasive vegetative species from within the limits of the lake and along the banks. The dried material was hauled to the Landfill. We utilized (3) long arm excavators (1 floating on a barge system, 2 on the banks of the lake) and (3) shuttle barges.
