Merrell Bros., Inc. has been contracted to clean two abandoned anerobic digesters at the Piscataway Water Resource Recovery Facility. Our team completed both of the digesters (see attached pictures) ahead of schedule. The sludge from the digesters was dewatered with two mobile belt presses and the dewatered sludge was conveyed directly into dump trailers. Each full dump trailer was transported to Waste Management Landfills for final disposal.
