Merrell Bros., Inc. was contracted to dredge, dewater and transport the Wastewater Treatment Plant sludge from (1) one 15-acre lagoon located at the Dallas Southside Wastewater Treatment Plant. We mobilized (10) Ashbrook Belt Filter Presses & (2) IMS Hydraulic Dredges (see pictures below). Merrell Bros., Inc. dredged and dewatered 23,000 dry tons of biosolids and loaded the dewatered biosolids directly into the City of Dallas trucks for disposal.
