Merrell Bros., Inc. was contracted to provide a turn-key solution to completely clean and remove liquid sludge from the on-site sludge lagoons at the Caribou WWTP. The material was pumped from the lagoon to a holding tank and material was dewatered through (4) mobile belt filter presses. For efficiency, we worked 12 hours per day, 6 days per week (no work on Sunday’s) to complete this project in a timely manner. We pumped the sludge from both small lagoons into lagoon #1 before dewatering operations began.
